Bishop Steve Elias Robinson is a Pastor, Singer, and Evangelist who has traveled extensively sharing God’s word with God’s people. He is the son of Mother Eva Grace Robinson and the Late Pastor Ray H. Robinson Sr.; the eighth of their ten children, and one of four pastors amongst his siblings. He was filled with the Holy Ghost at the tender age of 7 and accepted the challenge to carry the Gospel of Jesus at the age of 12.

 

In 1994, Bishop Robinson received his Ministerial License in the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ of the Apostolic Faith (OGCAC), under the late Honorable Bishop Dr. David L. Blount who was the Presiding Bishop. It was during this time that he attended The American Baptist Theological Seminary of Toledo, Ohio, where Dr. Elijah S. Hicklin served as Dean. In 1995, he became Associate Minister of Christ Temple Glorious Church (OGCAC). In 1997, Bishop Robinson was ordained as an Elder in the Original Glorious Church of God in Christ of the Apostolic Faith.

 

On February 27, 2000, Bishop Robinson was called to his first assignment as a Pastor at The Glorious Faith Tabernacle Church of the Apostolic Faith in Oberlin, Ohio. During his tenure with OGCAC, he served as Vice President of the Brotherhood of Ohio Diocese, under the leadership of President Richard Wright. Also during this time, Bishop Robinson served as the Assistant Auxiliary Chairperson of the Ohio Diocese under Bishop Charles Eberhardt.

 

As Pastor of Glorious Faith, he was blessed to be able to care for and serve the people in the Oberlin community, and those throughout the Lorain County area. After 13 faithful dedicated years of service at Glorious Faith Tabernacle, God urged Bishop Robinson to leave Oberlin and to complete the vision that was placed in him and from that City of Deliverance International Ministries was born. The first service was held November 27, 2011 in Lorain, Ohio.
