After years of pastoring an organizational church for several years, the spirit of Lord came upon our founder then Pastor Steve E. Robinson on November 24, 2010. God spoke to him and said “build a church with no denominational boundaries, or rituals, but a church where people from all walks of life can come together and worship, be healed, delivered, and set free”. And from this call came originally Greater Deliverance Temple. But God said “no limits” not just for my people alone, but all people everywhere. Then the spirit led Pastor to Matthew 5:14 “ye are the light of the world a “city” that is set upon a hill cannot be hid”. And form this, City of Deliverance International Ministries was born.

 

God blessed us to begin our new ministry on November 27, 2011 at 11am at 3724 Omaha Ave in Lorain, Ohio. Our first service was full of God’s presence. After the message was spoken then Pastor Robinson prophesied to the entire crowd and declared “that we will only be in this location for one year”. Two weeks later Pastor opened the doors of the church 47 people joined at one time and many more after that joined the ministry. God has blessed tremendously. Many souls have been saved, delivered, and set free.

 

In April of 2013, God is not slack according to his promises, God moved and miraculously allowed us to move into a new home located at 1793 E. 32nd St. The first service was held on April 21, 2013. God showed his hand of favor on City of Deliverance. After a few years God blessed us again to obtain our present location at 1897 E. 30th St. in Lorain, Ohio. We held our first service on April 9, 2017 at 11am. God has been good to City of Deliverance and we believe the best is yet to come.
